David Kaplan ( IBCA Hall of Fame Class of 2016) is a veteran Chicago sports broadcaster, analyst, and former radio host. He is best known for his work covering Chicago sports, particularly with ESPN 1000 and NBC Sports Chicago. Kaplan hosted the long-running radio show Kap & Co. and was a key figure on the television program Sports Talk Live. A passionate and knowledgeable voice in the sports industry, he has covered major Chicago teams, including the Bulls, Bears, Cubs, and White Sox, throughout his career. Kaplan has also worked as a college basketball scout and is recognized for his deep connections in the sports world.
