Basketball Museum of Illinois Lifetime Achievement Award
Pat Sullivan is known across Illinois as a builder of programs and people. He served as a basketball coach, teacher, and administrator for decades, including extended leadership at the University of St. Francis and Providence Catholic High School in New Lenox.
His official biography credits Coach Sullivan with 600+ career head coaching wins and a legacy defined as much by people as by performance. During his St. Francis years, 172 of 176 basketball-playing seniors graduated, a statistic that reflects the standard he set for accountability and growth. He has been inducted into eight Halls of Fame, earned 11 Coach of the Year honors, and has shared his approach internationally, presenting coaching clinics in four European countries.
Coach Sullivan is the author of three leadership-focused books that translate lessons from the court to life and work, including Team-Building: From the Bench to the Boardroom, Attitude: The Cornerstone of Leadership, and Lessons in Leadership from Athletics.
